Facilities Management have several opportunities available within school catering across the Bradford District. You will work within (or lead, if in a management role) a small team in a friendly school kitchen environment to provide a whole school meal service. You do not need experience to join us as a General Kitchen Assistant (although it is desirable) as we will provide a full induction and any relevant training required. Hours of work vary depending on the school in which you are based and will be mainly term-time only, therefore offering you the chance to earn money around caring for your children. Hours:
The hours per week will vary depending on the role, but will usually be as follows:
- General Kitchen Assistant – 10 to 12.5hrs per week
- Assistant Unit Manager – 12.5 to 22.5hrs per week
- Unit Catering Manager – 22.5 to 37hrs per week
Salary/Wage:
Current pay rates are as follows but are subject to an annual increase:
- General Kitchen Assistant – £6.28 per hour
- Assistant Unit Manager – £6.36 to £7.09 per hour
- Unit Catering Manager – £7.09 to £7.48 per hour
