MoorMums says:

A group for children to learn about the world and make friends. They learn about things such as sustainable development and fair trade by playing games, as well as going on nature walks, den building, planting flowers etc. The aim is to encourage children to think, to work together and discuss issues….
Its a bit like a mixed sex Brownies or Cubs, the children just play and explore. There is nothing overtly political about it but I like that the children are encouraged to discuss everything, there are opportunities for the children to lead a session themselves as they grow in confidence.

This is a new group so the two age groups (6-9 & 10-12) are mixed as there are low numbers, but if it grows there are badges they can get and camps to go on.

n.b. The group isn’t associated with the New Life Church (as I assumed!), it just hires the hall.
