MoorMums says:
A campaigning group of mums (Airedale Mums) and their families from around the Airedale area are planning an event where they will feed their babies at the Cow & Calf Rocks in Ilkley to celebrate a recent change in the law that makes it illegal for anyone to ask a woman not to breastfeed her baby in public.
This event is to be held on the first day of National Breastfeeding Week 2010. Participants will walk up to the rocks where they will feed their babies. Anyone is welcome to join the celebratory event– and not just mums that breast feed – to support Airedale Mums as they continue to promote a more natural approach to childbirth and child rearing.
This event has been featured in the Ilkley Gazette.
Always check that the event is running before setting off. Share your views on the event with other mums in our baby chat section.
