MoorMums says:
The classes are designed to help co-ordination and rhythm. They nurture children’s natural love of movement in a structured yet relaxed 45 minute class.
They use ribbons and hoops to help the children get the most from each dance track as well as other fun props which change with different dance themes such as salsa and disco so the children also learn about lots of music and dance styles as well as having tons of fun!!
Toddler group offer
Cath from diddi dance says: “For local toddler groups, we offer free 20 or 30 minute taster sessions where we can come along to any session and get out our pom poms, ribbons and hoops and show everyone what diddi dance is about. If you know any toddler groups or nurseries that would like us to do this, or you would like to let groups know about it then please pass on my contact details to them. – Cath : 07917 757566″

Jill from Rawdon says: “It’s fun! Parents can join in with their children rather than have to sit on the side or in another room. It is perfect for children who don’t always follow instructions (because they are too young) but who want to join in with the bits they enjoy. It has a relaxed friendly atmosphere which isn’t always the case at classes.”
Always check that the class is running before setting off. Share your views on the class with other mums in our baby chat section.
Birthday parties:
Cath from diddi dance says: “At a diddi dance party we get all the diddi ones up and dancing with lots of our fun, unique dancing games and exercises to our own funky pop songs. We also incude a few traditional party songs that the children love such as the hokey cokey and head shoulders, knees and toes. We then get out lots of props and dance with these such as pom poms, ribbons, hoops and maracas which makes the children’s eyes wide with excitement as we pull them out of our magic bags! We end with balloons and bubbles which calms the children down before their party tea.”
Party packages last from 1 hour and cost from £100. Included: pass the parcel, a gift for birthday child (t-shirt or CD), bubbles and balloons on sticks for the children to take home.
