Standard scans and screening blood tests are available on the NHS during pregnancy. However, you may want to have extra tests privately. Your midwife will be able to tell you what is available for free.

Doulas
Doula comes from the Greek meaning caregiver. It now refers to a woman who provides emotional and practical support to mothers (and fathers) during pregnancy, birth and in the first few weeks with a newborn.
