MoorMums says:
Yogamum pregnancy classes aim to use Yoga as a tool to enhance your pregnancy and birth experiences, helping to strengthen the body, calm the mind and prepare you emotionally for birth and motherhood. Pregnancy is an excellent time to practice yoga. The physical postures can help to strengthen the body, reducing back ache and other physical affects and to build stamina and flexibility for child birth. The breath work can help increase energy levels in the body, as well as to still and calm the mind. In particular, breathing practices and sound practices can be learnt now to help in labour and birth. Meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques can help ensure you get enough rest and relaxation, particularly as your baby grows.
Always check that the class is running before setting off. Share your views on the class with other mums-to-be in our baby chat section.
