I know Gina Ford is very popular. And I can see how her parenting advice works really well for a lot of people.
I'm not following her advice. I know in my heart of hearts that what we are doing is right because it suits us. But I can't help but feel like I'm a bad parent because we're not doing what we SHOULD be doing. I'm not putting Frank to bed at a regular time and horror of horrors (I spoke to a Gina-follower today and she actually gasped when I admitted this), I don't put Frank to bed at 7pm. There it is! I've said it. I just can't help but feel that somehow, I'll be paying for this for ever more!
Please tell me it isn't true! Please tell me there is someone else out there who is also naughty and doesn't follow the strict routine but just does whatever seemed right at the time?
Grrr.
I'm very much hoping that I've not ruined everything already and that Frank isn't going to grow up to be a criminal... although I have dressed him in an addidas shell suit today. (Bought on ebay of course).

Your poor child, you are a terrible mother and must be destroyed! I hope either you have photos of Frank in said shell suit, or we see him in it soon! I'm only resorting to Gina because Evie's been so unsettled at night, as you know. I think all the strict timings are still a load of guff, but some ideas like the nap times make sense. If Frank is happy and you're getting sleep, then that's great. He's too little to know when his 'bedtime' is yet anyway.
It seems to be only us posting on here so far. Defeats the object really, but get those cards printed & I'll pass some round. See you soon

Actually, I think the shell suit suits him. It's his colour... My only issue with it, is that it is 100% polyester and my mum says that is like putting him in a plastic bag (a very trendy plastic bag). He survived.
Omen has a picture of Frank in it as his avatar.
I keep wondering how long Frank's dream baby phase is going to last - hopefully forever.
Yes, I was just thinking that there was just you and me posting. We're working on the flyers this weekend. And I need to work on the content of the website - I keep meaning to do it and then Frank wakes up and demands an unscheduled feed (which I obviously don't give him - I couldn't have him out of his routine!).
