View Full Version : Too hot?

I've got a sneaky suspicion that Daniel has decided he only likes food cold - is that possible? Has anyone had this problem? Or am I feeding it to him too hot, what kind of temperature should it be?

Thanks

Yes Felix too. If it's too hot it's shocks him, I just let it cool down before I give it to him. It's easier really especially when I'm taking food out because I don't have to worry about warming it up. It's probably just a strange sensation for them they just will get used to in time.

read a top tip that suggested keeping a plate in the fridge - so will always cool their food down without such a long wait...

Excellent! I'm glad it isn't just us! The plate in the fridge idea is a good one, except that I give him all his food out of a plastic cup... I do try to cool it down by mixing in cold milk.

I'm half worried that he won't ever want warm food. I'm trying to reassure myself by thinking that I don't know any adults who will only eat food cold. It's probably just a phase...

Yes, this is true! Presumably there are babies out there who will only have their food warm. I should just count my lucky stars!
