Thinking of trying real nappies? Nappy Know-how is here to help!
I am a full time, working mum to two little girls and have just set up a small business providing free advice, information and support to anyone thinking of trying real nappies.
Both my little girls wear real nappies, but when I set out to buy them I realised that there was hardly anywhere on the high street where you could see and feel real nappies. So I set up Nappy Know-how.
Real nappies aren't what they used to be - there's no more pins, endless soaking and pails of dirty nappies, and they really aren't as much hard work as many people think - if they were I wouldn't be using them! They can also save you loads of money - at least £500 for your first child and more if you have further children. Even better, they look absolutely gorgeous! But it can be a bit of a minefield trying to choose the right nappy as there are just so many to choose from.
I'm here to provide free information and advice, and can even arrange a no-obligation demonstration in your own home so you can see the fabulous range of nappies available. I also supply a wide range of award-winning, user-friendly cloth nappies and accessories.

I'm so glad real nappies are back - better for the environment and I'm sure they must be more comfortable for the baby. Of course, I never had experience with anything else. When my daughters were small there was no choice.
I'm not sure exactly what your business is, but here's an idea that you or someone else might like to take up. When my husband was the father of a baby in America in the dim and distant past, he and his then wife used a service called Dai-Dee Wash (they call them daipers over there). You sluiced the soiled nappies and put them in a bucket of a special solution, and every evening they were collected and a clean pile of nappies brought round for the next day. This firm probably went out of business once disposables came in, but I think it might be an idea worth trying. All the advantages of a real nappy, without too much unpleasantness!

Thanks Ruth.
Things are even easier nowadays - you don't even need to soak the nappies, so there's no dealing with messy buckets and Napisan!
However, there are also still laundry companies who will collect your solied nappies and deliver a fresh load. Thanks for the suggestion.
