My name is Leanne. I have just opened a new nail salon in Guiseley - nailswithlove.co.uk

I was wondering if there is anybody on here who would be happy to share advertising tips in order to build up my client base. I have looked on the woman 2 woman networking website and I am hoping to attend their next session.

I would be more than happy to promote your business or help in anyway I can.

You could also offer a prize for a competition. We haven't run any competitions in the last couple of months, but we are looking to run some over the next few months.

With something like this, I think word of mouth is your best form of advertising. To encourage people to refer their friends, why don't you have some sort of referral scheme?

So if Person A refers five friends who come in and buy a treatment, person A receives a free treatment and maybe even a glass of champagne with it.

Doesn't need to be complicated, just keep a book with the names in and make sure that, when people refer their friends, they tell them to tell you they were recommended by Person X when they come in.

Also maybe take some before and after pics to show off your work on your website.
