Hi all,
I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and I'm having lots of quite nasty ligament pain in the lower abdomen. I've seen the midwife who just said it's normal and i just have to cope with it. Has anyone else had this, and any tips on how to ease it? I've got a support belt, but that didn't really seem to help. At least I know what they are and I'm not going into early labour!

Hi Louise,
I had the same with my second pregnancy, again was told by the midwives it was normal, especially as there is only 20 months between my 2!
It did't go for me until she turned as spent the majority of the time sideways. I did however find that my yoga classes helped as she showed us some great stretches which made you feel like you had a bit more space for you! I attended Gillian Shippeys class in Ilkley (also runs in Shipley/Saltaire) and I would highly recommend them, although I'm sure there are plenty of others out there as well!
