Hi All

We have a great sledging field near our house but no sledge and I'm dying to take George out! Anyone know anywhere which is selling sledges - so far we have looked in Stephen Smith's garden centre, Focus DIY and Argos but haven't found one yet!

Thanks

Catherine

Yes, I'd love to get one too. We watched the kids today in the park in Ilkley and it looked like so much fun.

Also, I noted that you really need a mum on board for it to work properly - when there was just a child they seemed to swerve off... not enough weight.

There seemed to be different varieties - couldn't work out which were the best ones. But the ones that were just a round bit of rubber with a handle looked a bit rubbish.

Have you tried Yorkshire trading company in Otley?

I know they were selling them before xmas, not saure if they have re stocked though as I have not been down since xmas.

priceguard in shipley was apparently selling them and had stocks in.
its under the clock tower, the shop that sells virtually everything and always has stock displayed on the pavement round the back.
hope this helps!

We bought this one. Bit pricey but we couldn't wait any longer to go sledging!

Thanks all!

Given that ironically we are snowed in today and can't get out to buy a sledge, I have gone for the order one from the internet option. Can't wait for it to arrive!
