Hi
An Ilkley mum who's little girl is battling a fatal heart condition is raising money for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund by selling little bags of ‘reindeer’ food throughout Ilkley.
The bags are sold for 50p. You just sprinkle a bit of the reindeer food outside your house on Christmas eve and you are guaranteed a visit from Santa!
To find out more, there is an article in the Ilkley Gazette (http://www.ilkleygazette.co.uk/news/4775942.Mum_of_Ilkley_heart_op_youngster_says_a_bi g_thanks_to_hospital/).
The bags are currently on sale at the Pet Shop, Shoe Be Doo shoe shop and the Ilkley Cutting Emporium hairdressers.
Please help support such a great cause.

Just wanted to second that it is a great cause......my daughter was born sleeping at 32 weeks gestation in September 2008 due to a rare heart tumour. Had she lived she would of been cared for by the Childrens Heart ward at the LGI. At her funeral we had a collection for the Children's Heart Surgery Fund and raised enough money to purchase them a computer and a baby oxygen saturation monitor, which has my a plaque with my daughters name on.
So I would encourage everyone to donate and to the mother of the little girl, wishing you and your daughter gentle days xxx

I'm so sorry Annie, that is very sad.
Yes, I think it is a great cause. I went and bought my reindeer feed at the weekend. Very excited about Christmas!

I've told everyone I could think of about this, not only a great cause but a wonderful idea too. I'm going to get my bags on Tuesday...that's if you all don't beat me to it!

Hi Nicola
Great news! I last spoke to Naomi, who does the Reindeer feed, about a month ago and she said she would be doing them again this year!
I'll chase her up for some more details.

Haha I spoke to her too! Hopefully I will be selling them in the Baildon area should anyone like to buy some this year.
