Hi
I'm new in Ilkley and would like to meet other mums-to-be or already mums to exchange experiences and to build up some social network, since I haven't really made friends here yet. I'm 40, in the 27th week and expecting my first child. Anybody interested please get in touch, hope to hear from you soon. :)

Hi and welcome to MoorMums and Ilkley

I've found it a great place to be with little kids as there is lots going on and it is lovely to be able to get straight out with the pushchair and walk round.

A good place to meet other pregnant mums would be at one of the antenatal classes (http://www.moormums.co.uk/pregnancy/classes/). I can personally recommend Gillian's pregnancy yoga class (http://www.moormums.co.uk/pregnancy/classes/pregnancy-yoga-ilkley/), but there are lots of others if yoga isn't really your bag.

Once you've had the baby, that is when the socialising really gets going! I'd recommend the Thursday morning sessions (http://www.moormums.co.uk/whats-on/mum-and-baby-groups/postnatal-support-group-ilkley/) run by the Health visitors and the Tuesday sessions (http://www.moormums.co.uk/whats-on/mum-and-baby-groups/stay-and-play-ilkley/) at the Children's centre.

I hope this helps. Best wishes with your pregnancy.

Jess
