Hi Everyone! :)

I'm 18 and pregnant and have recently moved to Silsden from Ilkley! Really eager to find some people in a similar position to me but dont know where to begin!
If anyone knows of anywhere to meet other young mums please let me know.

Welcome to MoorMums and congratualtions on your pregnancy!

There is one group specifically for younger parents locally that I can think of:

- Young parent's group (http://www.moormums.co.uk/whats-on/mum-and-baby-groups/play-sessions-menston/) in Burley on Wednesdays.

The Silsden Children's Centre (http://www.moormums.co.uk/whats-on/childrens-centres/silsden-childrens-centre/) might be worth a visit too. It is run by Rachel Copping who is very helpful.

You can also contact your health visitor. They might be able to put you in touch with other younger mums (and old mums too).

Let us know how you get on. I'm really keen to set up a 'young mum' section on the website but I need recommendations from local 'young mums'!

me and zac are moving to silsden this weekend, so were hoping for a new start and all that. we dont know anyone either , and chanelles not got any baby friends either, i meen your little ruby will be abit young to play with chanelle but il go to baby groups with you if you want? or you can come round to ours ? plus i dunoo anyone else thats pregnant or anything so im kind of all on my own too xx
