me again! i need some advice on pushchairs. i have decided to sell my mutsy 4 rider lite, as it certainly isn't lite and it's doing my head in! i need a light pushchair with decent suspension, small wheels and is quite compact. i'veheard the mamas and papas luna is good. any ideas?

we're getting on well with the Baby Jogger City Mini - it's a 3 wheeler and just about as light as a stroller (poss even lighter if the sales person was right) - is super easy to fold - there's just a single handle which you pull - et voila! It's suspension is fine - though the wheels are small and not the pneumatic variety - so it's probably a harder ride than some buggies... Adaptors for the maxi cosi isofix seat cost extra - but stay attached - so no fiddling around to get the seat on. We picked it up - from babyworld.co.uk for £140 - so it's been quite reasonable. Size wise - it's a bit big for Jacob still but with an insert is perfectly OK (a "kiddpotamus" which is the one baby jogger recommend in the US and we've used in bouncy chair and other places - so really worth the £16) - and hopefully some room to grow for the next year or so.
Foward facing only - which has been the one compromise - but there are two windows in the top cover so you can still see them. Oh and the cover pulls a long way down to help keep them dry/sheltered. Baby direct in Horsforth stock them - though charge about £170/180....

I LOVE my buggy. It is a Maxi Cosy Mura 3. It has been a brilliant pram. And we'll be using it as a pushchair soon - and it can face both ways (VERY important). And it takes the car seat. And the pram bit is big enough that he hasn't grown out of it straight away. It is FAB.
But I think you should stick with your pram (as it is fine) and just use your stroller when Evie is a bit bigger (in ooh at least 2/3 weeks).
If anyone would like to recommend their pram/buggy/stroller, we will be running a feature on these on MoorMums. So please send the info through in the contact us section and if your pram is REALLY good, we might publish your feedback.

Hi there, I know it doesn't have the decent suspension, but would the Maclaren you have be no good with a footmuff?
