Has anyone got a decent thermometer?

I have been meaning to buy a thermometer (for fever alert) for ages but everyone I speak to says that theirs is rubbish. Does anyone out there own a thermometer that they would recommend or at least they don't think is totally rubbish? Ta! Helen

I got quite a good timpanic one, think it's made by neurofen. About £10 from Lloyds chemist next to springs m/c in Ilkley.
