Pram/Buggy Junxtaposition

Our 4-month-and-a-bit-year-old is getting pretty big for his pram - anyone have any views when is normal to move them into the buggy version of our overpriced baby-moving contraption? :confused:

I have some vague recollection of something about babies needing to lie flat to sleep up to a certain age?

I think it's 3 months. That's what a sales assistant in mothercare told me anyway. Felix is in the sitting up position now and he's 4 months. He really likes it too because he gets to see more. It might say in the instructions.
