Charity band night in Horsforth

You may have heard in the local press (an article was printed in the YEP and Wharfe Valley Times and will be featured in this week’s Airedale and Wharfedale Observer) about the theft of Vicki Gilbert’s daughter Hope’s sponsor money.  If you didn’t, she swam 70 lengths in the Swimathon (a great achievement for an 8 year old) to raise money for Marie Curie, only to then leave her bag in a restaurant in Yeadon and the following day it was ‘claimed’ by a thief !!

Clearly, Hope is very upset and doesn’t understand why someone would do this.

A very kind landlord in Horsforth is now holding a live band night on June 3rd to raise some money.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is a great charity, so please support this event in any way you can.

If any of you are willing and able to print off the attached poster and display it somewhere eg school, church hall, workplace, front window!!! (especially those living locally to Horsforth) it would be much appreciated, feel free to forward this on to anyone who may be willing to do the same.
