Type of carrier: Front carrier

Suitability: 3.5kg to 12kg
MoorMum Helen from Otley says:
It is more expensive than the original BabyBjorn, but has extra lumbar support and wider padded shoulders.
I found the sling really complicated to set up and work out how to use at first. However, I now find it really comfortable and easier to set up. My husband loves carrying our son in it as it helps him to feel even closer to him. He also thinks he looks pretty cool wearing it (hey – it’s another gadget!). He has carried our son for up to two hours in it on walks. I have only managed 45-60 minutes before my shoulders begin to ache (our son is 15lb now, so I am not sure if this would be the case with other carriers too).
Advantages:
- Easy to get baby in and out
- Baby can face inwards or outwards
- Good back and shoulder support
Disadvantages:
- Quite complicated to set up at first
- Large and cumbersome when not being worn, so it does not easily fit into a bag, unlike the material ‘wraps’
