This carrier is adjustable and you wear it like a bag over the body. There are a number of ways of ‘wearing’ the baby. When they were very small they lie in the carrier as if it was a hammock.
The baby was comfortable in the carrier, but when he was very small we felt there were a lot of disadvantages.
The fact that the carrier goes over one shoulder means that the weight is not evenly distributed. Even when he was very small (>10lbs) I found it very tiring to wear him for more than 20 minutes or so (and I don’t find this with my other carrier).
The baby is also very enveloped in the carrier. We had our son in March so it was still quite cold, yet we worried that he was getting overheated in the carrier. I really wouldn’t have wanted to put him in it in the summer.
There are other ways of wearing the carrier now that our son is a bit bigger, but we haven’t as yet bothered with it as we didn’t like it and bought another one!
I personally wouldn’t recommend this carrier, I think i’ts a bad design.
