Ilkley
Ilkley is a very pleasant Victorian spa town situated in Wharfedale at the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It is surrounded by unspoiled scenery, with Ilkley Moor and the famous Cow and Calf rocks positioned just above the town.
Transport
There is a regular train service to Ilkley from Baildon, Guiseley, Menston and Burley. Otherwise, it is probably best to drive as the buses tend to be quite inaccessible for buggies. There is a lot of on-street parking availale and a large car park in the centre of Ilkley.
Baby cafes
Ilkley is very popular with mums and buggies. As such, there are a number of baby-friendly venues.
Smoooth – Smoothie bar and deli cafe
Unfortunately, on Saturday 14th March 09, Hide Bar was closed down. If/when the premises reopen, we will re-investigate their baby-friendliness before listing them.
