Soft Play and Farms

Indoor play centres (or soft play centres)

These centres have been developed with young children in mind.  There is typically a large padded area where little ones can climb, clamber, run, jump, followed by a slide down sometimes into a giant ball pool.  The centres are usually only open to children under 10 years.

Farm parks

Young children love to discover about farm animals through actually meeting them.  At farm parks, that is exactly what they can do.  From feeding guinea pigs to watching piglets run round in their pen, there is lots to see and do.

Farm parks often also have an indoor play centre for really rainy days.

Building confidence

Both indoor play centres and farm parks are great for growing your toddler’s confidence.  Play centres allow them to discover on their own as they clamber off through the ladders and slides.  As all the surfaces are padded, it is relatiely safe in case they take the occasional tumble.

Developing gross motor skills

It is also great for developing their balance which is a key skill for babies and toddlers.  By giving them the chance to exercise, you’ll be helping their muscle development and general fitness and starting habits that will help them grow into fit, healthy adults.
