MoorMum Teresa and Adam says:

Lovely day out. Acres of parkland to walk around, there are marked walks that are suitable for prams (we followed the disabled route). You haven’t got to spend a penny if you don’t want to, you can park for free and a very short walk later you’re at the house and farm, although there is a fee for entry into the house and farm, access to the parkland is free and there is ample room there for picnics, and some lovely walks too. We’ll definitely be returning with a picnic.
The farm has lots to look at, and its educational too and the House is full of history, the House is definitely for older children, don’t think they’d appreciate Adam crawling and cruising their furniture!

There are events run throughout the year.

Always check that the venue is open before setting off.
